Meet The Team

At the Showroom

MIKE CONNELL

Mike manages all construction-related business, deals with all the financials of the company, and works with the team to manage the company. And while this all seems very technical, Mike works hard to keep us all on our feet.

Before starting AKB, on top of many years of experience in the Portland area, he held a General Contractors license in North Carolina, was the general contractor for a 16-million-dollar condo development, and managed all the structural improvements of the Cliff House Resort.

He has always enjoyed business management and project development. He strives to create a comfortable environment for his customers and employees alike, and encourages teamwork.

Being the proud father of two amazing girls, has helped him learn the amazing moments and aches and pains of life, teaching his daughters that hard times don’t matter when you have a strong support system and love what you do.

When he’s not working—which is never—he’s out on the slopes or out in the garage where he lets his creative juices fly woodworking.

KIM CONNELL

Being part of the creation of Arcadia Kitchen and Bath, it was important to Kim to help create a seamless design process. She’s always loved the process of a well-used space being refreshed for the home. To her, a kitchen is a place where the whole family can come together to connect with each other.

Before she was a designer, she was a hairstylist/educator, and loved creating new looks and styles for her clients. She uses this knowledge of design and fashion to create timeless and beautiful kitchens for her clients. When she’s not at work, she spends time in her gardens, learning new things, traveling, and spending time with my fabulous daughters, grandson, and husband!

CAITLIN TUCKER

Caitlin has her master’s degree in Interior Architecture from The New England School of Art and Design. Before Arcadia, she was an integral part of dozens of residential and commercial projects across New England during her time in Boston.

She has drawn floor plans since she was a kid and knew design was always something she wanted to do. One of her favorite parts of the job is the clients reaction after her design exceeds their original expectation. Her favorite design details are millwork, materials, and lighting.

Caitlin spends a good amount of her free time looking at design inspiration but also enjoys skiing, art, antiquing, and animals, including her pet house rabbit and giant Newfoundland puppy, Mabel.
