Tile Trends and Choices: A Journey Through Our Showroom

In the ever-evolving world of home design, tile trends are a testament to the shifting tastes and preferences of homeowners. At our showroom, we've witnessed the cyclical nature of these trends, where some styles become staples of timelessness, while others make brief yet impactful appearances. As we bid adieu to the era of the all-white kitchen, a canvas for simplicity and purity, we embrace a new chapter filled with personality and creativity. This transition opens up a playground for tile experimentation, where fun meets functionality. Let's embark on a journey through the tiles that have adorned our spaces, those we're excited to introduce, and the unique selections we dream of seeing installed.

What We’ve Seen

Subway Tile (long and skinny): A classic that never fades. Its simplicity is its strength, offering a versatile backdrop for any design adventure. Whether you're planning a subdued space or intending to let your decor take center stage, subway tile is the reliable understudy, ready to complement without overpowering. Its variety in length allows for endless patterns and designs, transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary.

Zellige Tile (top right): Our love affair with Zellige tile is far from over. Its handmade charm and the unique glaze finishes bring a spectrum of colors to life, ensuring no two tiles are the same. This uniqueness adds an irreplaceable texture and depth to spaces, making them stand out.

Mosaic Marble (center): The understated elegance of marble, but with a practical twist. This marble mosaic offers durability and hides stains and dirt, thanks to its gray hues. It's a marriage of luxury and low maintenance, perfect for bathroom floors where beauty must meet functionality.

In terms of color trends, neutrals reign supreme, offering a versatile base for any accent color. Lately, blues and greens have been the go-to choices, providing a calm yet vibrant atmosphere that supports rather than overshadows features like stained wooden cabinets.

What We’re Seeing More

Our mission to create unique spaces drives us to explore tiles that push boundaries. As wallpaper makes its comeback, our clients are more inclined to experiment, and we're here to guide them.

Earth Tones and Natural Materials: The trend towards natural materials has led us to explore earth tones more deeply. While Zellige tiles continue to captivate, brick tiles are emerging as a rustic, handmade alternative. Their natural, earthy vibes and versatility in shape and size make them an exciting option for those looking to add warmth and texture.

Glass Tiles (bottom right): For a touch of modern sophistication, glass tiles are on our radar. Their ability to add dimension and color introduces a unique texture that's unparalleled, ideal for creating standout backsplashes or accent walls.

Tiles We Dream of Installing

Designing spaces that are truly one-of-a-kind is our passion, and nothing excites us more than the prospect of fun and interesting patterns. Our designer Caitlin has her eye on a particular large circular pattern tile for laundry rooms, a choice that promises to transform mundane into magical. This enthusiasm for mixing colors and patterns, especially in smaller spaces, is what drives us to keep exploring the limitless possibilities of tile.

As we continue to navigate through the world of tile trends, our showroom remains a testament to the past, present, and future of design. From the timeless charm of subway tiles to the innovative allure of glass, our selection reflects our commitment to diversity and creativity. We invite you to join us on this journey, where each tile tells a story, and every space is a canvas waiting to be transformed.
